The HTML map tag is used for defining an image map.
This element is used in conjunction with the HTML <area> tag and the HTML <img> tag to create the image map.

| usemap | Associates an element with an image map. For example, you associate the image with an image map by using this attribute. |
| class | Document wide identifier. |
| id | Document wide identifier |
| dir | Specifies the direction of the text |
| lang | Language code |
| style | Inline style (CSS). |
| title | Specifies a title to associate with the element. |
| alt | Alternate text. This specifies text to be used in case the browser/user agent can't render the image. |
| href | Specifies the URL of a page or the name of the anchor that the link goes to. |
| target | Specifies the target frame to load the page into. |
| tabindex | Helps determine the tabbing order (when the user 'tabs' through the elements on the page). |
