Instructions on Use

A User-Agent string is a string of text that a web browser sends to a web server to identify itself. This tool breaks down that string into understandable parts.

  1. Your own User-Agent string is automatically parsed when the page loads.
  2. To parse a different string, paste it into the "Enter User-Agent String" box and click "Parse".
  3. You can click "Use My User-Agent" at any time to re-populate the input with your current browser's information.
