The CSS text-shadow property is used for applying shadows/drop-shadows, outer glows, and other shadow effects to text.

Syntax: text-shadow: <horizontal-offset> <vertical-offset> <blur-radius> <color>
Possible Values:
  • none
  • <color>
  • <length> (for horizonal/vertical offsets, and blur radius)
  • inherit
Initial Value: none
Applies to: All elements
Inherited: No
Media: Visual
Example: h1 { text-shadow: 4px 4px 8px blue }
