The CSS letter-spacing property is similar to tracking in desktop publishing - it determines the space in between letters.

Syntax: letter-spacing: <value>;
Possible Values:
  • normal
  • <length> - for example, 0.3em
  • inherit
Initial Value: normal
Applies to: All elements
Inherited: Yes
Media: Visual
Example: p.wide-tracking { letter-spacing: 0.3em }
